Waco Aircraft

[CS9011] 6-1/2" x 4" 16 page booklet by Waco entitled "Air- Traffic Rules". Describes the various rules set forth by the 1926 Air Commerce Act. Also serves as a sales brochure by giving descriptions on the various Waco aircraft of the time. (225 Taperwing, 225 Straightwing, 3-place 165, 3-place 150, 3-place 90, and mentions the 220 Taperwings sent to Canton, China. Circa 1930. Rare. Booklet has been re-stapled through sheets near spine. Has a signed name on lower left corner (Harold G. Wakeman). Booklet has been folded in half. Good minus. $75.00

[CS9013] 5-1/2" x 3-1/2" postcard showing the "Waco Aircraft Company, Troy, Ohio". Card is numbered E-433 and is unused. Circa 1930. Thin stain down through center of card, otherwise VG. $20.00

[CS9014] 4" x 9" 4 page "Condensed Report of The Waco Aircraft Company - Troy, Ohio for the year 1932". (Back page is blank.) A Stockholders financial report. Interesting and unusual Waco item. Overall wear and several pinholes. Good minus condition. $30.00

[CS9016] 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" 4 page Price List covering the F, F-3, C, C-1, and D models. Lists standard equipment included with the above models and prices for special equipment. Effective June 10, 1934. VG. $40.00

[CS9017] 7" x 5" B&W photo of a crashed Waco 10 factory test aircraft. Impact indicates that aircraft hit ground almost vertically. Shows substantial damage. Circa 1935. VG minus. $30.00

[CS9021] 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" 8 page brochure entitled "WACO". Covers the Cabin Model 'C', Model F-3, Model D aircraft. Rubber stamped '1934'. VG. $100.00

[CS9024] 4-1/2" x 8" 4 page "Price List of Waco Airplanes with Standard Equipment". List covers cost of Model F, 90 (Series GXE), Hisso Waco (Series DSO), Jacobs Waco (Series PSO), Continental Waco (Series QSO), Whirlwind Waco (Series CSO), Waco Taperwing (Series CTO), and the Waco Glider (Series NAZ). Effective date of prices was 15 May 1930. VG. $50.00

[CS9027] 8-1/2" X 5-5/8" 16 page brochure entitled "Waco 225". Describes both the straight and taper wing variations. Shows construction as well as performance characteristics. Brochure has two inside fly leafs which were believed to originally have photos, possibly of both variations of the aircraft, pasted on them. (Photos not present.) Circa 1935. VG. $100.00

[CS9029] 8-3/8" x 10-7/8" cover letter on Waco letterhead, dated 14 July 1931. Cover letter (from Mr. H. R. Perry, Waco Sales Manager) introduces an 8-1/4" x 10-3/4" letter (included, and also printed on Waco letterhead) received from a very satisfied customer: a Mr. Lee Eikenberry, Chief Pilot for Flora Aviation, Flora, Indiana who owned and flew an OX5 powered Waco. Intersting sales pitch. Both letters have been folded in thirds to fit envelope. Both letters are VG. $40.00
