[CS0212] 6-1/8" x 9-1/4" 20 page brochure "Twin Wasp". Describes the attributes of each section making up the Twin Wasp and its performance. Cover has a diecut circle in which the P&WA emblem shows through. First page has a fold-out illustration of the engine. Circa 1935. VG+. $75.00

[CS0213] 8-3/4" x 8-1/2" 16 page technical sales brochure "A New Wasp". Illustrations and descriptions of the components and performance of the new Wasp Series 'H' . Cover has peened aluminum effect. Circa 1931. VG. $85.00

[CS0214] 11" x 8-1/2" 48 page sales brochure "Twin Row Installations". Describes, with large photographs, each of the 43 aircraft which use the Twin Wasp and Twin Wasp Jr. engines. July 1938. 7-3/4" x 7-1/2" envelope, addressed to Mr. Henry Cudworth, is included. ( Mr. Cudworth was the oldest Pratt & Whitney employee on record. He worked in Quality Assurance.) [CS0218] 7" x 5" 4 page cardboard brochure "World Records!". Lists the then current records inside front cover. Opposite page shows map of U.S. As the pamphlet is opened a cut-out Lockheed Sirius flies across U.S. from Los Angeles to New York. Very unique pamphlet which is patented as a "Moto-Folder". A unique early example of a 'pop-up' or 'structural' type graphic brochure. Circa 1931. VG. $120.00

[CS0219] 6-1/4" x 10" 20 page brochure "Engineering Leadership". Profiles the various personalities of the time with photos and accounts of their P&W powered feats. Double covers: front cover shows points of the compass, second inside cover has title and diecut square with engine showing through. Circa 1934. VG. $95.00

[CS0220] 9- 1/2" x 6-1/2" 24 page brochure "Achievements". Describes the flight achievements of the time which lead to the fame of the Wasp and Hornet. VG. Circa 1934. $80.00

[CS0223] 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Single-sided sheet "General Information - Pratt and Whitney Wasp Aircraft Engine". Describes the new model SICC - Wasp 14 cylinder engine as used on the DC-3. More information about the DC-3 performance than on the engine. Unknown origin but looks typical of P&W. Circa 1936. Has been folded in half. Light wear. Good+ condition. $20.00

[CS0224] 11" x 8-1/2" 40 page brochure "Single Row Installations". Dated October 1937. Describes the various P&W engines: Wasp, Wasp Jr. and Hornet in the aircraft they power. (See also item CS0214, above, a companion piece.) VG. $85.00

[CS0231] Approximately 4-3/4" diameter blue felt patch with the P&W of Canada logo. Circa 1940. VG. $35.00

[CS0232] 8-1/2" x 11" Letterhead of 'The Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Co., Hartford, Connecticut. Dated October 25, 1932 and signed by Mr. E. B. Haines, Assiatant Sales Manager. It is a cover letter for submittal of a drawing to the Autogiro Corp. of America. Included is a second (untitled) sheet acknowledging the drawing's receipt and signed by A. E. Larsen, Chief Engineer of the Autogiro Corp. of America. Both sheets are VG minus. Both have indentations froma paperclip. On P&W letter the paperclip has left a rust stain and there is another small stain in the top left corner, not affecting text. $15.00

[CS0233] 9-1/2" x 6-3/8" 20 page book entitled "Achievements". Describes the flight achievements of the time which lead to the fame of the Wasp and Hornet. This is the hard bound version of item CS0220 which was given to management. Circa 1934. VG in a VG original box. $100.00

[CS0302] 10-1/2" x 7-3/4" 4 page brochure "Report from England". Inside page shows drawing of an R-1830 Twin Wasp powered R.A.F. PBY Catalina depth charging a German U-Boat. Opposite panel describes the pilot's story of the incident. Pamphlet was handout to P&WA employees. Circa 1944. Light fold mak across brochure, else VG. $10.00

[CS0304] 8-1/2" x 11" 20 page brochure "A Pictorial Review of United Aircraft Corporation at War". A March 1945 employee handout showing each United Aircraft Corp. Division's activity. Cover shows P&WA main administration building illuminated at night. VG. $10.00

[CS0305] 8-1/2" x 11" 24 page brochure "Our Part in the War Effort". A March 1942 employee handout describing the contributions of each United Aircraft Corp. division. Red penciled name of James W. Brand and date 3-14-42 on cover. Mr. Brand later won a prize for naming the "Turbo-Wasp", first P&WA jet engine. VG. $15.00

[CS0306] 8" x 10-1/2" 8 page pamphlet "Welcome to Family Day". This was a handout given to family day visitors. Pamphlet is dated December 17, 1944 and includes explanations of the various displays. Engines in current production are described. VG. $10.00

[CS0307] 8-1/2" x 11" 4 page brochure "Commemorating the Shipment of the One Hundred Thousandth Engine". Dated September 24, 1943. This employee handout describes background history. Has photo collage of various aircraft powered by P&W engines. VG. $15.00

[CS0308] 9" x 7" 4 page program which was handed out during "Presentation of the Army-Navy "E" Award for Production Achievement at Plant 'M', East Longmeadow, Mass., May 6, 1943". Program has been folded in half. $10.00

[CS0309] 5" x 6-3/4" 32 page employee handout entitled "Restricted". Gives brief background of company from 1938-1942 and its contributions to war effort. Circa 1942. VG. $8.00

[CS0310] 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" 4 page handout "Twentieth Anniversary - Pratt & Whitney Aircraft - August 1945". Lists various speakers for Anniversary Exercises on August 2 and Employees' Day activities on August 5, 1945. VG. Also included is an 11" x 8-1/2" map of the facility. Map has been folded to fit pocket. Handout has been folded in half, otherwise VG. $10.00

[CS0311] 10-7/8" x 8-1/2" 81 page booklet "Disassembly, Inspection, Reassembly of R-1830-43 Engines". This booklet originally accompanied a 'Jam Handy' 35mm filmstrip and shows each of the pictorial slides of the filmstrip. (Up to 9 slides per page.) Dated July 1944. VG. $25.00

[CS0312] 6-1/8" x 9-1/4" 8 page program which was handed out during "Award of the Navy 'E' to Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Division for Production Achievement. March 24, 1942." Covers show wear and are splattered with what appears to be brown paint. Program has been lightly folded. Interior pages are Good+ condition. $10.00
