[CS6007] 8-1/2" x 11" Letterhead "The Service News" San Antonio, TX. Dated 19 Sept. 1929. Pitcairn Aircraft Inc. apparently declined advertising in the publication. Letter signed by Mr. Robert. J. Walker, managing editor of Service News. VG+ with horizontal colored pencil mark through logo. $15.00

[CS6014] 8-1/2" x 11" Letterhead of the Denine Aircraft Company of Wallace, Idaho. This letter was used as advertising copy of the Chicago based "American School of Aviation"; as such, there is a printed orange crayon-type message about aviation career opportunities. Unusual. VG with vertical crease 2" from right edge. $10.00

[CS6016] 8-1/4' x 10-1/2" Letterhead from "The Held Glue & Compounds Co., Ltd". Addressed to Universal Flying School and signed by Mr. C. E. Jarvis, Secretary to the company. Dated 3 July 1930. VG+. $10.00

[CS6017] 8-1/2" x 11" Letterhead from "Pioneer Instrument Company, Brooklyn, NY". Addressed to the Universal Flying School and signed by Mr. R. I. Kay, General Sales Manager. Dated 3 July 1930. VG+. No folds to letter. $10.00

[CS6018] 12" x 9" Envelope from Pioneer Instruments. Cachet of an aircraft and speed boat with company name Is in upper left hand corner. Glued yellow label bears address of Universal Flying School and label code of 6-30 which Is assumed to be date. Good minus condition. $12.00

[CS6024] 8-1/2" x 11" Letterhead and envelope from "Aviation Service of New York, NY." Describes included literature (NOT present) for Helios Aviation Engines. Letter is unsigned but is addressed to a Mr. Harold Perrault of Shelbourne Falls, MA. Dated 2 May 1931. VG with VG minus (browning) envelope. $12.00

[CS6025] 6-1/2"(EST.) x 3-1/2" Window envelope from the "Heath Airplane Company". Return address shows the Heath Parasol and the label: America's Oldest Aircraft Factory. Postmarked 15 May 1920. Right end of envelope is ripped off where it was opened, otherwise VG. $10.00

[CS6032] 8- 1/2" x 11" Letterhead of "Logan Aviation Co. of Cleveland, Ohio. Dated 16 December 1928. Contents describe enclosure of catalogue and, specifically, pricing of a set of officer's boots. Addressed to Mr. G. Spencer Lee, Old Bennington Garage, Old Bennington, VT and signed by Mr. F. J. Logan. VG. $15.00

[CS6038] 8-1/2" x 11" Letterhead of "American Eagle Aircraft Corporation" of Kansas City, MO. Dated 25 February 1929 and addressed to the stockholders informing them of their success. A second page is included which has facsimile signature of Mr. E. E. Porterfield, then president of the company. VG+. $10.00

[CS6046] 8-1/2" x 11" Letterhead of Wright Aeronautical Corp., addressed to Mr. A. E. Larson, Chief Engineer of Pitcairn Autogiro Co. Contents discuss enclosure of a brochure (NOT present) describing the new 6200 series engine. Letter Is signed by Mr. George Chapline; VP of sales for Wright. Dated 7 Sept. 1939. VG. No folds to letter. $30.00

[CS6047] 8-1/4" x 11-3/4" Letterhead addressed to Pitcairn Autogiro Corp. from Hirth-Motoren G.M.B.H. of Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany. Signed by Mr. V. Ginteler. Dated 22 Aug, 1933. This is a set of (3) letterheads, (1) plain-paper second sheet and (1) onion-skin type sheet showing four reduced-size testimonial letters, all in German. Also (1) printed "General Conditions of Sale" (in English) and copies of (2) letters sent from Pitcairn to Hirth (in English and initialed by A.E. Larsen, Vice President/Chief Engineer). Total of 8 sheets. VG. $25.00

[CS6048] 8-1/2" x 11" Letterhead of Kinner Airplane and Motor Corp., Glendale, CA. Dated 23 July 1936. Addressed to Mr. R. Ward of Pitcairn Autogiro Co. Purchasing Dept. from Mr. M. E. Sears of Kinner's Sales and Service Dept. Letter describes the R-5 engine and (not present) brochure. VG with paperclip crease at top left. $20.00

[CS6051] 8-3/8" x 10-7/8" Letterhead of the Lycoming Division of the Aviation Manufacturing Corp., Williamsport, PA. Signed by Mr. R. J. Cowden, Sales Dept. and addressed to Mr. Paul H. Stanley of Pitcairn Autogiro. It describes an enclosed pamphlet they were supplying to Pitcairn. (Pamphlet not present.) Dated 9 Jan. 1939. VG with paperclip stain at top left. $15.00

[CS6056] 8-1/2" x 10-3/4" Letterhead of the "1937 National Air Races" Sept. 3, 4, 5, 6. Very colorful red, white and blue. Never used. Shows logo and has pictures of officials along left side. Top red panel lifts up to show photo collage underneath. Opened dimension is 12-3/8". VG. $25.00

[CS6083] 9-1/2" x 4" AirmaiI envelope from Varney Air Lines, Inc. of Portland, OR. Addressed to Pratt & Whitney of Hartford, CT and postmarked Pasco, WA, Air Mail Field. Dated 23 May 1931, envelope has embossed 5 cent airmail stamp. VG minus. $15.00

[CS6096] 8-1/2" x 11" 2 page stapled set consisting of letterhead and plain paper 2nd sheet from United Aircraft Manufacturing Corp., E. Hartford, CT. Addressed to Mr. Wm. Wait Jr. Dated 18 January 1936. Letter deals with some device which was first used on a Chance-Vought 02U2 series aircraft and patent litigation. Letter is signed by a Mr. Harris G. Luther. VG. $25.00

[CS6114] 8" x 10" Letterhead of Armstrong-Whitworth Co, London, England. Addressed to Colt Firearms discussing mechanical synchronizing gear for aircraft machine guns. Dated 20 August 1925 and signed by J. P. Davison. VG minus. $20.00

[CS6124] 8-1/2" x 11" Letterhead of B. F. Mahoney Aircraft Corp., San Diego, CA. Logo is a colorful winged 'M' with globe in center and words: "Builders of Col. Lindbergh's - Spirit of St. Louis". Addressed to a Mr. Guillermo Xucla, Barcelona, Spain, it provides a sales offer for a specially built Brougham. Signed by S. C. Breder, Sales Manager. Dated 2 June 1928. VG. $45.00

Provides the construction and performance details of the E-113B engine. Letter is addressed to a Mr. E. Hauser and signed by Mr. J. C. Welsch, Sales Manager. VG. $35.00

[CS6272] 9-1/2" x 4-1/8" Business envelope with logo of Heath Aircraft Corp., Chicago, IL.. Very ornamental with decoration on obverse side. In green and cream format. Circa 1928. VG minus. $18.00

[CS6281] 8-1/2" x 11" Letterhead of The Commercial Aircraft Company of America, Inc.. Undated and blank. All that is known about the company is that on 1 Dec. 1928 they incorporated in Delaware. Staining on right hand side. Does not affect printing or letterhead. Good minus with very minor piece torn from bottom right corner. Penciled notes on back (looks like notes for a resume, ending date of 1930.) $12.00

[CS6282] 9" x 11-1/4" Letterhead of COMPAGNIA NAZIONALE AERONAUTICA of Rome, Italy. Dated 10 Nov. 1927 and signed by Count Giovanni Bonmartini, Managing Director. Heavy deterioration along left side, but does not affect text. Item was a bit too wide for our scanner, so about 1/4" of right side of letter has been deleted. No damage to this side of sheet. Poor condition. $15.00

[CS6284] 8-1/2" x 11" 2 page letterhead of AEROPLANI CAPRONI of Milan, Italy. Dated 5 Nov. 1927 and signed but not legible. Large pieces missing from left sides of both sheets and stains not affecting text. Fair condition. $15.00

[CS6302] 8-1/2" x 11" Letter from the United States Cartridge Co., Lowell, MA and addressed to Aeromarine Plane & Motor Co., Keyport, NJ. Dated: 18 April 1922, the letter is in response to a request for a design quote for a specific aircraft radiator core. Package contains the two-page letter,a 4-page ad removed from a magazine, several pages from engineering journals, and 8 blueprint pages of tech data. NOTE: It is believed that this is the quote for the radiator which was used on the A.M.C. first all-metal flying boat. A unique and rare piece. Letterhead in good condition. Blueprints are VG. $50.00

[CS8060] 9" x 4" Envelope from the Lima, Peru offices of the Pan American Grace Airways, Inc. Addressed to: Mr. J. N. McDonald of Wright Aeronautical Service Dept. Envelope is made of paper with light green printing showing the PAA Grace insignia. Postmarked 30 April '45. Customs "Examined By" tape on left side of envelope. Good condition. $15.00
