aircraft's characteristics. The 310 used a Lorraine 120 H.P.

Fleetwings (Bristol, PA) Seabird Amphibian, Model F5 (Model F6
was the flying boat version). This was the Jacobs L-5 overhead

Price List No. 4, dated January, 1937. Slight mildew staining at

distributed by "The Commuters Air Transport, Inc. (C.A.T.)
New York, NY for the National City Bank of New York. Inside
panels describe the advances made by air transport throughout the
world. Pamphlet was originally folde to 8-1/2" x 4".

[CS7551] 10-7/8 x 7" Single sided board. Caption
reads: "C.A.T. Inc. - This is an American organization -
Tipping Is Un-American. - Please do not "tip" our
employees". Used and placed in the sales offices of the
Commuters Air Transport, Inc. Highly unusual and extremely rare.
NOTE: C.A.T. was only in business a few months. Circa 1925. VG

[CS7556] 7" x 5-1/4" 4 panel card. New Years
greetings from C.A.T. Only front panel has printing and shows a
flying boat over a ship with a dock in foreground. 'Happy New
Year' has been spelled out by the flying boat. Card has been
signed by a C.A.T. official but is not recognizable. Most
probably it was Dr. M. Greene, who was C.A.T.'s technical

Commercial Aviation". Issued by C.A.T. and dated 1925.
Booklet describes their Intention to start NYC operation in early
1926. However, favorable endorsements in back of the booklet
lists customers taking flights as of August 1925. Gray covers

Thompson Aeronautical Corp. Map shows U.S. with its major airline
routes in black and TAC routes in red. Corner legend provides
airmail schedules for major cities. Originally folded to

[CS7564] 5-1/2" x 8" 22 page instruction booklet
issued by "AMPHIBIONS, Inc., Garden City, NY." Provides
rigging, systems and operation of the Privateer P-2
flying boat. Covers are hard brown/red cardboard with name and
flying duck logo on front cover. Interior pages are individually
trimmed blueprint-type paper and vary somewhat in size.
Amphibions superseded Ireland Aircraft. Extremely rare. VG. Circa

Heath Seaplane version of the "PARASOL". Describes the
advantages of this type of aircraft along with some description

9, 1924. Contains 8-page general description on the aircraft, 2
pages of design characteristics, and 3 pages of weight
distribution. Two drawings are: A) Blueprint No. 18441 (52
x 23) is the 3-View which also lists specifications; B)
Blueprint No. T-172 (30 x 22) is the balance drawing
which shows a side view and where all critical weights are
located. This D. D. & S was completed in the last month that
Aeromarine was in business; it therefore is probable that only
one or even no aircraft were ever built. One of a kind. $325.00

[CS7618] 8-1/2" x 12" 16 page brochure on the
CANT Z.501 single engine flying boat. Provides description and
specifications on this famous reconnaissance bomber of WW II.
This aircraft has similarities to the Consolidated PBY. Cover is
dark blue with blue shading. Shows front view of the aircraft
over a map with blue and red lines of flight flown during its
1935 record flight. Circa 1935. English text. A letter addressed
to G. Loening providing the brochure to him is included from
Cantieri Riuniti DellAdriatico, Trieste, Italy; Dated 14

Journal of the Royal Aeronautical Society in December 1924 of the
presentation on LARGE ALL-METAL SEAPLANES' by Dr. Rohrbach.
Light green paper covers. Contains the discussion and conclusions
of Dr. Rohrbach and his basis for designing the Large Flying
Boats. Contains approximately 13 pictures, with curves and charts
on his design methodology. Cover has 2-1/2" closed tear.

(similar to postcard) issued by the EDO Aircraft Corp., College
Point, NY. Shows a three photo composite of the Ryan Brougham
equipped as a seaplane. Circa 1928. Highly unusual. VG+. (See

issued by EDO Aircraft Corp., College Point, NY. Shows a Stearman
3 seat biplane in front of factory and equipped with EDO deluxe
floats. The back of the card describes the floats. Because of
their aerodynamic efficiency they could be made to accomodate and
fit many other aircraft types with a wide range of engine power.
The Stearman shown has an insignia of the Escadrille II Squadron,
but civil reg. No. of 5686. Later issue than item CS7625 and with

issued by EDO Aircraft Corp., College Point, NY. Shows a Waco 10
biplane equipped with EDO deluxe floats. The back of the card
describes the float installation and that the aircraft is owned
and operated by Mr. R. S. Fogg and operates out of the Concord,
NH Airport. Because of their aerodynamic efficiency they could be
made to accommodate and fit many other aircraft types with a wide
range of engine power. The Waco 10 has a civil reg. of NC1148.
