[CS7523] 4" x 9-1/4" 4 page pamphlet of the Wilmington-Catalina Airline, Ltd., Describes the fIight, aircraft and facts of the unique small Island air service. Cover drawing shows view from the mainland to Catalina with an overview of a Douglas Dolphin aircraft. Circa 1935. Good minus condition with some creasing and light soiling. $45.00

[CS7527] 6" x 9-1/4" 16 page brochure (French Text) on the Curtiss Hydro-planes. Describes the engines and flying boats Curtiss produced. Brochure is complete, but may be missing the cover. The tightness of the staples would indicate that no cover was attached. Circa 1914. Very light soiling to covers. VG minus condition. Rare. $120.00

[CS7529] 9-1/2" x 12-1/4" 4 page pamphlet on the Schreck-F.B.A. Type 310 amphibian. Describes this 2 to 3 place aircraft's characteristics. The 310 used a Lorraine 120 H.P. radial engine in pusher configuration. Front cover has General Motors Research Lab stamp on it. Fold creases across middle are a bit weak. VG minus. Very scarce. Circa 1928. $95.00

(French Text). Extracted from April and June 1924 issues of "L'Aeronautique". Cover is light brown with a photo (pasted) of the aircraft at Villacoublay, France. Dated 1924. VG+. $170.00

[CS7536] 8-7/8" x 11" 2 page brochure on the Liore et Olivier LeO H.27 flying boat with 4 Hispano-Suiza 600 H.P. engines. The single double-sided sheet gives a technical overview of the specifications and performance of this aircraft. Brochure may be incomplete. (French text) Circa 1925. $75.00

[CS7542] 8" x 10-1 /2" 4 page pamphlet on the Fleetwings (Bristol, PA) Seabird Amphibian, Model F5 (Model F6 was the flying boat version). This was the Jacobs L-5 overhead radial engine powered all stainless steel aircraft. Pamphlet is Price List No. 4, dated January, 1937. Slight mildew staining at bottom.Some light creasing. VG minus. $95.00

[CS7544] 8-1/2" x 11" 4 page pamphlet on the "ARGONAUT PIRATE", 3-place Menasco powered cabin amphibian. Argonaut Aircraft Co., Tonawanda, NY. Provides specifications and performance as well as a general description of the aircraft. Circa 1930. VG+. $100.00

[CS7545] 8" X 10-3/8" 4 page pamphlet on the Fleetwings (Bristol, PA) Seabird Amphibian, Model F5 (Model F6 was the flying boat version). This was the Jacobs L-5 overhead radial engine powered all stainless steel aircraft. Pamphlet is Price List No. 2, dated December, 1936. Done in B&W. VG+. $90.00

[CS7548] 8-5/8" x 11-1/4" 16 page brochure issued by the Aeronautical Chamber of Commerce of America and entitled: "Marine Air Terminals". Provides descriptive information on various terminals and what the ACCA can provide in assistance to those wishing to establish a terminal in their locale. Unique cutout in cover allows a photo of a floatplane to show through between the skyscrapers. VG, Ex-State Library. Circa 1935. $60.00

[CS7550] 8-1/2" x 15-1/4" 4 page pamphlet distributed by "The Commuters Air Transport, Inc. (C.A.T.) New York, NY for the National City Bank of New York. Inside panels describe the advances made by air transport throughout the world. Pamphlet was originally folde to 8-1/2" x 4". VG. Dated 1926. (See 7551 through 7557) $35.00

[CS7551] 10-7/8” x 7" Single sided board. Caption reads: "C.A.T. Inc. - This is an American organization - Tipping Is Un-American. - Please do not "tip" our employees". Used and placed in the sales offices of the Commuters Air Transport, Inc. Highly unusual and extremely rare. NOTE: C.A.T. was only in business a few months. Circa 1925. VG with very light crease to bottom left corner. (See 7550 through 7557) $50.00

[CS7552] 5” x 3" Information request card issued by C.A.T. which was handed out with ticket purchase. Card shows the C.A.T. Flying Boat Logo and requests frequency of travel, best time of week to travel, and number in family who also traveled. Circa 1925. VG+. (See 7550 through 7557) $25.00

[CS7556] 7" x 5-1/4" 4 panel card. New Years greetings from C.A.T. Only front panel has printing and shows a flying boat over a ship with a dock in foreground. 'Happy New Year' has been spelled out by the flying boat. Card has been signed by a C.A.T. official but is not recognizable. Most probably it was Dr. M. Greene, who was C.A.T.'s technical advisor. [CS7557] 4" x 8-3/4" 16 page string bound booklet entitled: "What Every Intelligent Man Should Know About Commercial Aviation". Issued by C.A.T. and dated 1925. Booklet describes their Intention to start NYC operation in early 1926. However, favorable endorsements in back of the booklet lists customers taking flights as of August 1925. Gray covers with black printing. VG+. (See 7550 through 7557) $50.00

[CS7559] 14" x 11" Single sheet route map for the Thompson Aeronautical Corp. Map shows U.S. with its major airline routes in black and TAC routes in red. Corner legend provides airmail schedules for major cities. Originally folded to 3-3/4" x 7". VG. Circa 1929. $60.00

[CS7564] 5-1/2" x 8" 22 page instruction booklet issued by "AMPHIBIONS, Inc., Garden City, NY." Provides rigging, systems and operation of the Privateer ‘P-2’ flying boat. Covers are hard brown/red cardboard with name and flying duck logo on front cover. Interior pages are individually trimmed blueprint-type paper and vary somewhat in size. Amphibions superseded Ireland Aircraft. Extremely rare. VG. Circa 1931. $200.00

[CS7565] 8-3/4” x 12" 4 page pamphlet on the Heath Seaplane version of the "PARASOL". Describes the advantages of this type of aircraft along with some description of the pontoon kit and aircraft. Green printing on cream paper. Some fold separations. Circa 1925. Good condition. $70.00

[CS7571] 6-1/4” x 9-3/4” 14 page soft cover booklet: “Short Bros. - Seaplane Works; Rochester, England”. Describes the “Calcutta”, “Singapore”, “Gurnard” and the 3-engine cabin seaplane as well as the factories’ capability. Green covers with oval cutout showing overhead view of the factory from first page. VG+. $100.00

[CS7583] 6” x 9-1/4” 30 page reprint from the Journal of the American Society of Naval Engineers, Vol. XXXVIII; No. 2, May 1926 entitled: 'THE TREND OF FLYING BOAT DEVELOPMENT', by Commander H. C. Richardson, U.S.N. Describes the development up to the time, plus comments on the different aspects of various designs. Slight tears in the covers near the spine. VG minus. Brown paper covers. $40.00

[CS7599] 52” x 35” Blueprint drawing Nbr. 17245 entitled: “4 BLADED PROPELLER for HS 2-L FLYING BOAT for AEROMARINE PLANE & MOTOR CO.” Designed by F. W. Caldwell; Aug. 2, 1922. Frank Caldwell; Winner of the Collier Award for designing the Hydra-Matic Propeller. Some HS 2-L performance curves and propeller sketches are included. One of a kind. $75.00

[CS7602] 9” x 11-1/2” 13 page document with two (2) drawings. Entitled: “GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND DATA ON THE AEROMARINE SEA MESSENGER - THE MODEL A.S.M.”. Issued Sept. 9, 1924. Contains 8-page general description on the aircraft, 2 pages of design characteristics, and 3 pages of weight distribution. Two drawings are: A) Blueprint No. 18441 (52” x 23”) is the 3-View which also lists specifications; B) Blueprint No. T-172 (30” x 22”) is the balance drawing which shows a side view and where all critical weights are located. This D. D. & S was completed in the last month that Aeromarine was in business; it therefore is probable that only one or even no aircraft were ever built. One of a kind. $325.00

[CS7607] 35" x 45" Single-sided drawing of the Sikorsky S-39 aircraft. Issued by the 'Junior Bird Men' for modeling purposes. Drawn by Harry S. Pack Jr. Circa 1935. Some fold separations. $40.00

[CS7618] 8-1/2" x 12" 16 page brochure on the CANT Z.501 single engine flying boat. Provides description and specifications on this famous reconnaissance bomber of WW II. This aircraft has similarities to the Consolidated PBY. Cover is dark blue with blue shading. Shows front view of the aircraft over a map with blue and red lines of flight flown during its 1935 record flight. Circa 1935. English text. A letter addressed to G. Loening providing the brochure to him is included from Cantieri Riuniti Dell’Adriatico, Trieste, Italy; Dated 14 November 1935. Very scarce. VG. $150.00

[CS7623] 7-3/8” x 9-3/4” 23 page reprint from the Journal of the Royal Aeronautical Society in December 1924 of the presentation on ‘LARGE ALL-METAL SEAPLANES' by Dr. Rohrbach. Light green paper covers. Contains the discussion and conclusions of Dr. Rohrbach and his basis for designing the Large Flying Boats. Contains approximately 13 pictures, with curves and charts on his design methodology. Cover has 2-1/2" closed tear. Interior is VG. Scarce. $60.00

[CS7625] 5-7/8” x 4” Photo advertisement card (similar to postcard) issued by the EDO Aircraft Corp., College Point, NY. Shows a three photo composite of the Ryan Brougham equipped as a seaplane. Circa 1928. Highly unusual. VG+. (See 7626 & 7627) $60.00

[CS7626] 5-3/8” x 3-3/8” Photo advertisement card issued by EDO Aircraft Corp., College Point, NY. Shows a Stearman 3 seat biplane in front of factory and equipped with EDO deluxe floats. The back of the card describes the floats. Because of their aerodynamic efficiency they could be made to accomodate and fit many other aircraft types with a wide range of engine power. The Stearman shown has an insignia of the Escadrille II Squadron, but civil reg. No. of 5686. Later issue than item CS7625 and with the EDO Logo. Circa 1930. VG+. (See 7625 & 7627) $55.00

[CS7627] 5-3/8” x 3-1/2” Photo advertisement card issued by EDO Aircraft Corp., College Point, NY. Shows a Waco 10 biplane equipped with EDO deluxe floats. The back of the card describes the float installation and that the aircraft is owned and operated by Mr. R. S. Fogg and operates out of the Concord, NH Airport. Because of their aerodynamic efficiency they could be made to accommodate and fit many other aircraft types with a wide range of engine power. The Waco 10 has a civil reg. of NC1148. Later issue than item CS7625 and with the EDO Logo. Circa 1930. VG+. (See 7625 & 7626) $55.00
