the C-W Flying Service, Buffalo, NY. Card was to be filled out
with appropriate checks marking individuals interests. Circa

[CS1224] 4" x 6-1/2" 4 page brochure introducing
the Curtiss-Wright Junior Ground School Course teaching the
principles of aviation to boys under seventeen. This was a 3 week
summer course at Valley Stream, NY. Circa 1929. Several very

Charles Peden and signed by C-W representative Harry Rogers. Card
was issued for the year of 1932. As far as is known Mr. Peden was

[CS1237] 4" x 9-1/8" 6 panel brochure entitled
"Fly with Curtiss to your Favorite Hunting Grounds or
Fishing Retreat". Has the 1929-1930 Field & Stream
Hunting Season on center panel. Damage to left edge of brochure,
affecting all panels. Rubber stamp on cover "Received Nov

"Curtiss-Wright Flying Service - Mechanics' Ground School
Graduation Certificate" Issued by the Curtiss Wright Flying
Service of Boston. Issued to a Loburton Tibbetts on 20 March 1933
for graduating with 730 hours and an 83% grade. It is signed by
the Ground School Director and the Field Auditor. Scarce. Has
been folded. VG minus. $35.00
[CS1241] 8-1/2" x 11" 4 page brochure. Sent out
by the Curtiss-Wright Flying Service as an advertising flyer
describing the mid-summer bargains they had to offer. Inside two
panels show photos and give description of the type of work C-WFS
could offer. Back panel shows map with the location and distance
between each of the C-WFS dealers. Dated 15 July 1931. Has been
folded to fit envelope. VG. $30.00
[CS1243] 9" x 7" printed photo of the St. Louis
'Robin' being refueled. Photo was courtesy of the Curtiss Flying
Service, Ohio State Fair, 1929. Back side describes the record
420 hour flight and how Curtiss is one of the greatest names in
aviation. 1929. Has been folded in half. Good condition. $45.00

number 58065) to be checked off and sent in to Curtiss-Wright
Flying Service, NYC for detailed information on their courses and
services. Dated 7 Sept. 1930 and has the name C. E . Richards of
Portland, Maine, age 9 years, 5 months(!). Vg. $30.00
